The South Florida Bulls host the BYU Cougars on Saturday afternoon from Raymond James Stadium in this season opening matchup from Tampa, Florida. The weather is expected to be 84 degrees and cloudy. This is the opener for both teams.
BYU is coming off of a bowl game loss to UAB left a sour taste last season to finish their season. Kalani Sitake has established consistency and after going 10-3 last season. Last season, the Cougars finished 17th overall in offense and 29th in scoring.
BYU allowed nearly 30 points to USF when the two met last season. A second-half letdown allowed the Bulls to come all the way back until BYU’s defense finally put the game away 35-28.
