The BYU Cougars will head out to Malibu to face the Pepperdine Waves in WCC play from the Firestone Fieldhouse on the CBSSN. BYU leads the head-to-head series, 14-8, after winning the last four meetings.

BYU dropped to 16-10 after beating Pacific in Provo. The Cougars jumped out to a double digit half time, then cruised to defeat the Tigers. BYU scores 75.3 points per game, while allowing 68.2 ppg, and shooting 45.1% from the field.

BYU avoided falling apart by starting February with a pair of wins, and they’ll look to keep the momentum going in their final trip to Malibu. The Cougars are 6-5 in WCC play, with a 2-4 road record. The Cougars played through the inside-outside pairing of Rudi Williams and Fousseyini Traore. Fousseyini Traore has posted back-to-back double-doubles in wins over LMU and Pacific, and he leads the team in scoring (12.5) and rebounding (8.2). Williams scored 28 points against San Francisco, and he’s second on the team-lead in scoring (12.3). Senior forward Gideon George double-doubled last time out against the Tigers, and he’s up to 11.2 ppg and 6.1 rpg.
