The Butler Bulldogs are on the road as they make the trip to face the Creighton Bluejays Thursday night. Butler comes in off a 68-46 home loss to #3 UConn in their previous contest Saturday night. Creighton was beaten 69-58 on the road by Marquette in their most recent game Friday night. In the all-time series between the two schools, the Bluejays own a 14-8 advantage and have taken three of the last four matchups. Last season, the teams split with each team winning at home: Butler prevailed 72-55 on January 26, 2022 before Creighton picked up a 54-52 victory at home in the most recent meeting on February 8, 2022.

Butler saw their four-game win streak snapped as they were drubbed by #3 UConn at home in their previous contest. The Bulldogs dropped to 8-4 overall and stand 0-1 in Big East play heading into this game as they try to even their conference mark. Trailing 43-39 with 9:48 to play, Butler was outscored 25-7 the rest of the way to wind up on the wrong end of a one-sided contest. Butler shot a paltry 29.6% from the field, including three of 14 from three-point range, and was dominated on the boards by a 54-30 margin. Manny Bates led the Bulldogs with 16 points in the loss.
