The Yankees are rested but they could be rusted heading into the playoffs and the Guardians just swept the Rays in the wild-card round. I think the Guardians are going to carry that momentum into a win he re to kick off the Yankees in the series-opener. These two are tied 11-11 in the playoffs all-time against each other with the Yankees winning the last two series, so I think the Guardians will be looking for revenge with Cal Quantrill on the mound against Gerrit Cole.
