Bulls at Hornets Prediction – NBA Picks 1/26/23

The Chicago Bulls pay a visit to the Charlotte Hornets at the Spectrum Center on Thursday night.

The Chicago Bulls have been in decent shape as they’ve won six of their last 10 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back here after having their three-game win streak halted by the Pacers in a 116-110 road loss on Tuesday. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 33 points on 14 of 21 shooting, Nikola Vucevic added 20 points with eight rebounds and five assists while Zach LaVine chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Bulls shot 48 percent from the field and just five of 24 from the 3-point line as they poured in 62 points in the first half to lead by as many as 21 points, only to allow the Pacers to explode for 70 points in the second half to slip away in the end.

Meanwhile, the Charlotte Hornets have been in poor form as they’ve lost 10 of their last 13 games overall and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting routed by the Suns in a 128-97 road loss on Tuesday. Terry Rozier led the team with 19 points and five assists, Mason Plumlee added 17 points while Jalen McDaniels chipped in with 15 points and 10 assists. As a team, the Hornets shot just 40 percent from the field and six of 25 from the 3-point line, but they never gave themselves a chance in this one after getting outscored by 36-15 in the first quarter. The Hornets did make a bit of a comeback, but they didn’t put up much of a fight in the second half where the Suns exploded for 70 points.
