Buffalo Sabres (4-1-0) vs. Seattle Kraken (2-3-2)

The 2022-23 NHL season goes on with a ten-game Tuesday card and brings the interconference clash from Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington, where the Buffalo Sabres face off against the Seattle Kraken with a puck drop at 10:00 PM ET.

Buffalo heads to Seattle as a small +110 moneyline underdog with a total of 6.5 goals. Last season, the Kraken swept the Sabres, winning 5-2 as -200 home favorites and 7-4 as -135 road favorites.

The Buffalo Sabres are searching for their fourth straight victory. They’ll wrap up a four-game road trip in Seattle after outlasting Edmonton 4-2, Calgary 6-3, and Vancouver 5-1. Last Saturday, the Sabres trounced the Canucks as +145 moneyline dogs, and Victor Olofsson led the way with a couple of goals and an assist. Buffalo killed three of Vancouver’s four power-play opportunities, while Craig Anderson posted 29 saves on the night.

“We were under a pretty good barrage in the second and Anderson and our group of defensemen, I thought played really well,” Sabres coach Don Granato said. “And the third we needed to get back to a little bit more of our game. We were able to do that early and Casey Mittelstadt and Olofsson teamed up and t hat was a really big moment for us.”

Rasmus Dahlin has already accounted for five goals and three assists in 2022-23, while Alex Tuch has scored six goals through his previous five outings. The Sabres rank second in the NHL in goals for (4.40 per game) and fourth in goals against (2.20). Eric Comrie is projected to patrol the crease in Seattle, and the 27-year-old netminder is 2-1-0 with a 3.01 GAA and .930 save percentage this season.
