The Kansas City Chiefs play host to the Buffalo Bills in one of the key games in the AFC on Sunday afternoon from GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. The Bills enter with a 6-6 record and know that they need to generate some wins down the stretch if they want to find their way into the playoff picture. For the Chiefs, an 8-4 record still has them atop the division but they can't afford to drop anything more if they want to secure the AFC's one seed. This has emerged as one of the best rivalries in the NFL over the last handful of years and after Buffalo won last season's lone meeting, the Chiefs will certainly have revenge on their mind.

The Bills had high hopes heading into this season but this season hasn't exactly gone according to plan. They sit at only 6-6 coming into Sunday and with the Cowboys coming up next, they certainly can't afford to lose two in a row and be at 6-8 come the final stretch. Away from home has been a similar story, where they have only one win as well, while going to Arrowhead isn't likely to change that. The Bills did win in this stadium last season in a thriller though, as they'll be looking to replicate that success in this one. It doesn't help that Kansas City has quite a bit to play for on the other sideline, though the Bills have the talent to come away with one of the biggest wins of the season.
Injuries have been a concern for Buffalo this season, especially on the defensive side, though they appear to be building in health as they enter this one. Matt Milano (leg) is a k ey absence at linebacker, while Taylor Rapp (neck) at least appears probable. On the offensive side, Dawson Knox (wrist) could be making his long-awaited return at tight end, though still carries a questionable designation.
From a numbers standpoint, the Bills still have one of the best offenses in the league, though turnovers has continued to hold them back. They rank right near the bottom of the league in interceptions and turnovers, which they can ill afford to have happen against Kansas City. Josh Allen remains a big play threat but look for Buffalo to try to get things going on the ground. The Chiefs one worry has come against the run, where they sit 28th in the league in defensive yards per rush, as Buffalo can work to control the clock there. Defensively, it'll fall to if the secondary can continue to make life miserable for Kansas City's inexperienced receiver room.
