The Ravens have won 5 of the last 8 meetings between these two teams, but the Bills scored a win most recently, beating the Ravens 17-3 in the Divisional round of the playoffs two seasons ago. The Bills came into last Sunday's game with the Dolphins considered the best team in the NFL. They were 2-0 and won both games in resounding fashion, drubbing the Rams in week one and the Titans in week two. Then last week they faced the upstart Dolphins in Miami and fell 21-19 as 4 point favorites. It was their first loss of the season. It was a wild game that saw the Bills enter the fourth quarter with a 17-14 lead. But then the Dolphins scored in the fourth on a Chase Edmunds touchdown run to take a 21-17 lead. With about 1:37 left, the Bills held the Dolphins and forced them to punt. This is where things got weird. Take a look.

Dolphins punter, kicking from his own end zone, had little room to execute the punt. So his punt was blocked by his own player, wide receiver Trent Sherfield, who had moved back to block for Morstead. But because there was little room, Morstead's punt hit Sherfield in the backside in a play that soon became known as the butt punt. The ball bounded into the end zone for a safety and it was now 21-19. The Bills would get the ball back only needing a field goal to win. The Bills drove it down as far as the Miami 43 with 27 seconds left, but a holding call brought the ball back 10 yards, well out of field goal range, and the game was over. The Bills suffered their first loss. Josh Allen compiled 400 yards passing and two touchdowns, but the offense only generated 17 points.
