Since Jan. 16, no team has been hotter than the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks are 22-3 in that span, with four more wins than the next closest team, the Philadelphia 76ers. At 16-8 in that same span, the Suns rank third in victories, and the team was starting to pick up steam … then forward Kevin Durant injured his ankle during warmups.
Phoenix has lost two straight following KD's injury, including a loss to the Bucks on Monday night in which the team surrendered 123 points. Will the Suns be able to shine after back-to-back losses, or will Milwaukee add to its mounting win total?

Bucks vs. Suns pick
If I knew for sure that Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo would be available for this one, I'd pick Milwaukee to win and cover on the road. Since the team is playing the second leg of a back-to-back set, there's no guarantee the Greek Freak will be available. That's why we'll pivot instead to a favorable player prop rather than bet the spread or point total without that vital information.
Suns guard Devin Booker has been lighting it up over the last two weeks, averaging 35.3 points per game while scoring at least 30 in five of those six contests. He's been excellent at home this season, averaging 29 points per game at Footprint Center, and with Durant out of action, he'll be forced to shoulder a hefty offensive workload.
Booker has scored at least 30 points in 16 of 41 games this season, including seven times at home. Even if Giannis is sidelined, Booker will need to be at his best if his team hopes to get back on track against the surging Bucks. We're taking the Over without hesitation.

This line hasn't seen movement beyond half a point in either direction, and it's remained mostly static since opening. Bettors favor the Suns to cover, with 55% of wagers coming in on that outcome.
