One of the best pass-catchers in the NFL will be on display when Mike Evans and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
In their last outing, the Buccaneers lost 27-20 to the Indianapolis Colts. Against the Colts, Baker Mayfield led the Bucs with 199 yards on 20-of-30 passing (66.7%) for two touchdowns and one interception. Rachaad White carried the ball 15 times for 100 yards (6.7 yards per carry). He also had two receptions for 10 yards. Evans had 70 yards on six catches (11.7 per reception) with two touchdowns in that game.
The Panthers are coming off of a loss to the Tennessee Titans by the score of 17-10. Bryce Young went 18-for-31 with 194 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions for the Panthers against the Titans. He rushed three times for 23 yards. Chuba Hubbard carried the ball 14 times for 45 yards (3.2 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. In the passing game, he added five catches for 47 yards. Jonathan Mingo caught four passes for 60 yards (15.0 yards per catch).
