Hopes are high for the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2022 college football season. Quarterback Bryce Young returns fresh off a Heisman Trophy, but he will be without a majority of his wide receivers from last year. Newcomers will have big shoes to fill with Jameson Williams and John Metchie in the NFL.
Alabama didn't waste any time finding capable replacements, though. The team took advantage of a deep transfer pool and brought in big time names like Jermaine Burton and Tyler Harrell.
Harrell is the one sticking out at practice and drawing praise from Young as well as head coach Nick Saban.

Harrell was a three-star prospect in the 2018 recruiting class and committed to Louisville. He played in only two games as a freshman and one games as a sophomore, though. After sitting out the 2020 season, Harrell broke out with 523 yards and 6 touchdowns on 18 receptions in 2021 (12 gam es).
Young has taken note of Harrell's speed and the fact that he is constantly asking questions. This is a kid that could make an immediate impact after averaging a ridiculous 29.1 yards per catch last year.

Saban did point out the media that Harrell has missed some time at camp with an injury. However, he has liked what he's seen when he does suit up. Saban ex plained that the next step is channeling Harrell's abilities in the right direction so that he can be as productive as possible for Alabama.
The Crimson Tide remain the favorite to win the College Football Championship with odds set at +180, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
