“I knew we expended a lot of juice from the Clipper game (a 110-95 win on Saturday). The guys gave what they had,” explained Brooklyn coach Jacque Vaughn after the Nets lost for the third time in four situations where they played on back-to-back nights.

Kevin Durant continues to impress, scoring 31 points while adding nine rebounds and seven assists. Durrant leads the club at 30.6 points and 5.3 assists per game and is second in rebounds per contest (6.6). Kyrie Irving sat out his sixth straight game, suspended by the team indefinitely. The Nets are seventh in the league, allowing 108.7 points per game and have allowed fewer than 100 points in four of the last five games.
