Brooklyn Nets (6-8) vs. Sacramento Kings (6-6)

The 2022-23 NBA betting action continues Tuesday in this inter-conference battle when the Brooklyn Nets take on the Sacramento Kings at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.

Brooklyn is coming off a 116-103 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. That was the second of a four-game West Coast road trip. Sacramento earned their third straight victory on Sunday when they defeated the Golden State Warriors, 122-115. This is the first meeting between the teams this season. The clubs split the two contests last year, with the home team winning both games.

The Lakers blew open a close game, outscoring the Nets by 10 points in the final quarter in a 116-103 loss for Brooklyn. Brooklyn (6-8) is 5-8-1 ATS and is 3-4 on the road. The Nets shot 45.0% from the floor but were just 7-27 (25.9%) from three-point range. That was a significant drop-off, as they have averaged 35.9% from the three-point range this season.

“I knew we expended a lot of juice from the Clipper game (a 110-95 win on Saturday). The guys gave what they had,” explained Brooklyn coach Jacque Vaughn after the Nets lost for the third time in four situations where they played on back-to-back nights.

Kevin Durant continues to impress, scoring 31 points while adding nine rebounds and seven assists. Durrant leads the club at 30.6 points and 5.3 assists per game and is second in rebounds per contest (6.6). Kyrie Irving sat out his sixth straight game, suspended by the team indefinitely. The Nets are seventh in the league, allowing 108.7 points per game and have allowed fewer than 100 points in four of the last five games.
