After stopping a five-game slide with a 124-115 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Nets have lost three straight contests against the Portland Trail Blazers 134-127 in overtime, the Cleveland Cavaliers 111-102, and the Miami Heat 96-95 in overtime.

Mikal Bridges led the way for Brooklyn with 26 points, nine rebounds, and six assists, and Cam Thomas added 23 points off the bench.
“We’re just in a position right now where you have to perform, and that’s across the board,” Nets coach Jacque Vaughn said. “That’s a challenge to the entire group from the beginning of the game to the end to be locked in and give everything you have on both ends of the floor.”

The Nets are tied with the Atlanta Hawks for the No. 10 seed in the Eastern Conference. Brooklyn tallies 115.6 points per 100 possessions (16th in the NBA) while surrendering 117.4 points in return (22nd). The Nets are still without Ben Simmons (hip), but all the other key players are ready to go.
