Brooklyn Nets at Washington Wizards – 11/4/22 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Brooklyn Nets and the Washington Wizards duke it out at the Capital One Arena on Friday night.

The Brooklyn Nets really struggled so far as they’ve lost six of their first eight games and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting beaten by the Bulls in a 108-99 loss on Tuesday. Kevin Durant led the way with 32 points, nine rebounds and six assists, Royce O’Neale added 20 points on eight of 12 shooting while Nic Claxton and Yuta Watanabe each scored 10 points. As a team, the Nets shot 48 percent from the field and 12 of 32 from the 3-point line as they got off to a solid start and controlled the first half to build a 12-point lead, but they couldn’t find their offense in the second half and eventually got run down in the fourth quarter where they managed just 19 points.

Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards have been in decent shape as they’ve split their first eight games and they will be feeling better after stopping a three-game skid with a 121-111 road win over the 76ers on Wednesday. Kristaps Porzingis led the way with 30 points, nine rebounds and three assists, Bradley Beal added 29 points with five assists while Kyle Kuzma chipped in with 18 points, eight rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Wizards shot a healthy 57 percent from the field and just five of 21 from the 3-point line, but they took care of the ball and committed just seven turnovers while making 26 of 32 from the free throw line to earn the much-needed victory.
