The Milwaukee Bucks play host to the Brooklyn Nets at the Fiserv Forum on Wednesday night.
The Brooklyn Nets have struggled so far this season and they will be hoping for a better showing after getting stopped by the Grizzlies in a 134-124 road loss on Monday. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant each scored 37 points while Nic Claxton chipped in with 16 points, seven rebounds and two blocks, but no other player scored more than eight points. As a team, the Nets shot 54 percent from the field and nine of 29 from the 3-point line as they poured in 35 points in the second quarter to take the lead into halftime, only to get blown out in the third quarter where they allowed the Grizzlies to explode for 45 points.
Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks will be aiming for a third straight victory after making light work of the rebuilding Rockets in a 125-105 home win on Saturday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 44 points, 12 rebounds and three assists on 17 of 21 shooting, Jrue Holiday added 19 points with 10 assists while Bobby Portis chipped in with 13 points off the bench. As a team, the Bucks shot a healthy 56 percent from the field and 16 of 31 from the 3-point line as they dominated this one right from the start, exploding for 41 points in the first quarter to take the early double-digit lead which allowed them to rest some starters early.
