Bronny James, son of LeBron James, is in the hospital recovering from a cardiac episode that occurred during USC basketball practice Monday morning.
TMZ first reported the news and noted that the 18-year-old James had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit after he collapsed and fell unconscious.
“Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital,” a James family spokesperson said in a statement. “He is now in stable condition and no longer in the ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information.”
