Five Things To Know

  • Purdue is currently the only team in college basketball with five Quad 1 wins.'
  • As of Friday, all 10 teams from the Big 12 were ranked in the Top 50 of the NET. '
  • How valuable would a No. 1 seed in the West Region be for Arizona? This year's West Regional will be played at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the same venue that the Wildcats annually make feel like an extension of Tucson during the Pac-12 Tournament.'
  • Villanova (7-6) went up 10 spots in the NET following Wednesday's loss at UConn. The Wildcats are now 5-1 with five-star freshman Cam Whitmore in the lineup entering Saturday's game against Marquette.'
  • After a strong start, Utah State (11-2) has come back down to earth. A pair of losses last week against two sub .500 teams – Weber State and SMU – have dropped the Aggies out of the bracket above.
