The Bowling Green Falcons will head down to Athens to take on the Ohio Bobcats in MAC action from the Convocation Center. BGSU leads the all-time series, 78-67, after winning five of the last six games.
Bowling Green moved to 11-19 after defeating Eastern Michigan. The Falcons pulled away from the Eagles with a big second half, and they’d win by twenty, 88-68. BGSU is scoring 76.6 points per game, while allowing 78.1 ppg, and shooting 45.6% from the field.
Bowling Green snapped a painful nine-game losing streak by winning their home finale, but they will face an uphill battle here with the Bobcats. The Falcons are 5-12 in MAC play, with a 4-10 road record. Senior guard Leon Ayers III has been cold over the past six games, but he leads the team in scoring at 16.7 ppg. Fellow veteran guard scored a season-high 25 points in the win over EMU, and he’s second on the team at 12.9 ppg. Junior forward Rashaun Agee double-doubled versus the Eagles, and he leads BGSU in rebounding (5.8), while scoring 10.3 ppg.
