The Bowling Green Falcons are on a tear lately, winners of ten of their last 11 games. Their lone loss came on the road against Akron, and the Zips are 4-0 in conference play. Bowling Green is one game back from the leaders in the conference, as Akron, Toledo and Western Michigan are all 4-0 in league play. It should be noted that over their past 11 games, only two were true road games, two were against non-Division I schools, and they were only the underdog twice. In their last game, they were led by forward Rashaun Agee with 24 points and nine rebounds in the win over Northern Illinois.

The top scorer for Bowling Green is 6'4 junior Marcus Hill with 20.4 PPG. He is 2nd in the MAC in scoring while also adding 4.0 RPG and 2.2 APG. Hill has scored 15 or more in his last five games, including a 35 point explosion in a win over Eastern Michigan. The top shooter on the team is 6'0 senior Trey Thomas, he has only played in 10 of the 16 games, but still has the most made threes with 25 on 37.3% shooting from deep. Thomas is healthy now, and had 20 points and five assists in the win over Ohio. Rashaun Agee is their top frontcourt player, the 6'8 senior is averaging 12.0 PPG and a team high 8.6 RPG Agee does all his work in the paint as he has only attempted four three pointers on the season. The Falcons also have 7'0, 250-pound center Jason Spurgin who adds 11.1 PPG and 5.6 RPG.

Bowling Green is currently ranked 200th in the nation according to KenPom. The Falcons rank 209th in the nation in offensive efficiency and 191st in defensive efficiency. They play at the 147th fastest tempo in the country. Bowling Green played one of the easiest non-conference schedules in the nation, it ranked 351st out of 362 Division I teams.
