The Kent State Golden Flashes (18-5) will host the Bowling Green Falcons (10-13) Tuesday night in a Mid-American Conference matchup. Last season Kent State swept the season series beating Bowling Green 91-83 on the road and 76-68 at home. These two teams will meet again in Bowling Green on February 25.
The Bowling Green Falcons are 4-6 in the MAC and have lost their last three games. The Falcons were underdogs in their 91-77 road loss to Toledo and 69-60 home loss to Ball State, but they fell as a five-point favorite at home against Northern Illinois 86-78. Bowling Green is currently 8th in the MAC standings, which is significant because only eight of the 12 teams get to play for the conference's tournament.

The Falcons are 264th in the KenPom ratings. The team is 53rd averaging 77.3 ppg, but only 186th in adjusted offensive efficiency, led by 6'5 Duquesne transfer Leon Ayers III with 18.6 ppg. The defense has been an area of concern. BG is 346th allowing 77.1 ppg, and 321st in adjusted defensive efficiency.
