The Bowling Green Faclons and Toledo Rockets face off in some Tuesday night college football MACtion at the Glass Bowl. Toledo has won the last two games over Bowling Green.
Bowling Green sits with a 5-5 record and can become bowl eligible with a win in this game. In the last game against Kent State, Bowling Green’s offense was a big issue scoring only six points. Quarterback Matt McDonald actually pretty well they just couldn’t find the end zone. He completed 31 of his 40 passes for 246 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Jaison Patterson had a big game finishing with 16 carries for 52 yards. Bowling Green is averaging 23 points while their defense is giving up 32.6 points per game.
On the other side of this matchup is Toledo and they sit with a 7-3 record, but have gone only 4-6 against the spread. In the last game against Ball State, it was a close game, but Toledo was able to secure the 28-21 victory. DeQuan Finn completed 21 of his 38 passes for 301 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. Toledo is averaging 35.1 points while their defense is giving up 26.3 points per game. The offense is ranked 23rd in college football, and they need the offense to be good here.
