The Bowling Green Falcons will travel to Akron, OH on Saturday for a match up with the Akron Zips. Bowling Green comes into their fifth game of the season struggling with a 1-3 record overall after a 31 point loss to Mississippi State. Defensively Bowling Green was obliterated as Mississippi State compiled 465 yards of offense including 420 through the air to score 45 points in the game.
Offensively Bowling Green struggled with only 250 yards including an abysmal 78 on the ground to score 14 total points. Camden Orth led the way for the Bowling Green offense completing 17 of 28 passes for 172 yards and two scores. Harold Fannin Jr. led the way for the Bowling Green receivers with 49 yards and one score on five catches and Tyrone Broden added 30 yards and one score on two receptions.
The Akron Zips return home Saturday riding a 3 game losing streak following a nine point loss to liberty. Akron moved the ball well on offense totaling 321 yards but turned the ball over one time and failed to score in the first quarter leading to the loss.
