Boston University at Bucknell – 1/2/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Boston Terriers will head down to Lewisburg and face the Bucknell Bison in Patriot League play from the Sojka Pavilion on ESPN+. Bucknell holds the all-time series lead 14-9, but Boston U has won four of the last five meetings.

Boston U dropped to 6-7 after losing to Navy at home. The Terriers were out scored in both halves, en route to a 17-point defeat to the Midshipmen to open conference play. Bucknell fell to 7-7 after losing to Holy Cross in Worcester. on Wednesday. The Bison nearly rallied to defeat the Crusaders, their rally fell just short, leading to a two-point loss. Bucknell is scoring 70.9 points per game, while allowing 6564 ppg, and shooting 47.6% from the field. Xander Rice leads the Bison in scoring (15.5), while the front court pairing of Adam Timmerman (11.3 ppg, 6.6 rpg) and Andre Screen (10.8 ppg, 6.4 rpg) hold down the middle and give teams trouble on the boards.
