The Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees face off on Saturday in an MLB showdown at Yankee Stadium. The Red Sox were able to knock off the Yankees 5-4 in extra innings in the first game. 

The Red Sox sit with a 48-43 record overall and after a slow start to the season they have been playing better the last few months. The Red Sox have leaned on the offense to turn around the season and they are currently averaging 4.69 runs per game which is 6th best in baseball. Trevor Story is having a big season for the Red Sox hitting 15 home runs and driving in 58 RBIs so far this season.

On the other side of this matchup is the Yankees who sit with a 62-28 record overall but they have lost two games in a row. In each of the last two games the pitching hasn’t been lights out, and they couldn’t get timely hits ate. The Yankes offense and pitching are both the tops in the MLB.
