The Twins sit with a 67-61 record overall and they are right back in the middle of the playoff race after winning five straight games. On Tuesday the offense had a strong game scoring 10 runs, which led to the five-run victory. The Twins are averaging 4.45 runs per game which is 12th in the league. Jose Miranda is having a big season hitting 13 home runs and driving in 56 RBIs.
On the other side of this matchup is the Red Sox and they sit with a 62-68 record overall and any chance they wanted to make the playoffs seems to be out the window. The Red Sox’s offense has been good this season, but the pitching has really let them down. They are currently giving up 4.91 runs per game which is 25th in the league. Rafael Devers has hit 25 home runs and driven in 66 RBIs.
