Boston College at Syracuse – 12/31/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Boston College Eagles and Syracuse Orange face off on Saturday in a college basketball showdown at the Carrier Dome. When these two teams faced off in February it was Syracuse that secured the 76-56 victory. 

Boston College comes into this game with a 7-6 record and they have gone 4-9 against the spread. In the last game against Virginia Tech, Boston College scored 70 points, and that was enough to secure the five point victory. Boston College is averaging 64.3 points while their defense is giving up 66.9 points per game. The offense is ranked 335th and going forward they are going to need a more consistent offense. Makai Ashton-Langford is averaging 11.5 points while shooting 40.7 percent from the field and 19.4 percent from behind the three point line. 

On the other side of this matchup is Syracuse who sits with an 8-5 record and they have gone 6-7 against the spread. This has been a disappointing start to the season and they are coming off another loss in the last game. The Orange’s defense gave up 84 points to Pitt and that led to the two point defeat. The Orange are averaging 75.3 points while their defense is giving up 69.4 points per game. Judah Mintz is averaging 15.6 points while shooting 42.8 percent from the field. There are three different players that are averaging at least 14.4 points per game.
