The Celtics will be playing the second game of a two-week road trip away from the friendly confines of TD Garden in Boston. The Boston Celtics are playing like a team that was not satisfied with just getting to the NBA Finals last season. Behind MVP-like play from Jayson Tatum and nearly equally dominant play from his running mate, Jaylen Brown, Boston is off to the best start in the NBA this season. Both Tatum and Brown are averaging career-highs in scoring and newcomer Malcolm Brogdon has fit in seamlessly with his new team. On Sunday, in the opener of this road trip, the Celtics took on the Brooklyn Nets in Brooklyn. Boston once again got dominant performances from its dynamic duo in a 103-92 win. Tatum had 29 points and 11 rebounds while Brown had 34 points and 10 rebounds. Boston improves to 18-5 with the win.

More good news was released last week when it was reported that Boston center Robert Williams III (knee) is close to making his return. The Time Lord will bring stability to the back end of the Celtics defense, something that has been lacking thus far. The Celtics are just 16th in points allowed this year while also just 19th in opponent's field goal percentage. Boston is 13th in blocks per game, a ranking that will certainly rise with the return of Williams.
Key Injuries: Don't expect to see F/C Al Horford in this game as Boston has been consistent thus far in resting the veteran big man on the second half of back-to-back games.
