The Boston Celtics will travel to Madison Square Garden for a date with the New York Knicks on Wednesday. Tip-off from The World's Most Famous Arena is at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Boston is a 3.5-point spread favorite and the game total is 225.5 points.

The Knicks won three of four games against the C's last season, including three straight.

Boston made a shake-up to its roster ahead of the season, ditching key cogs Malcolm Brogdon, Marcus Smart, and Robert Williams. Brad Stevens didn't throw in the towel, however, replacing those players with Jrue Holiday (19.3 PPG, 7.4 APG, and 5.1 RPG) and Kristaps Porzingis (23.2 PPG and 8.4 RPG). It may not be the most experienced or talented group in the NBA, but it's going to be one of the most competitive.

Jayson Tatum is back to lead the Celtics in their quest for their 18th NBA championship. The 25-year-old, who averaged 30.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists last season, is currently +800 to win MVP, the fourth-lowest odds. To take the next step, Tatum will have to lead the C's past Eastern Conference stalwart Milwaukee, who acquired Damian Lillard this off-season.

Last season, Boston scored 117.9 points per game (4th) with a 47.5% field goal percentage (14th), including 37.7% from three-point range (6th). Its opponents averaged 111.4 points (5th) on 46.3 percent shooting (5th), including 34.5 percent from long distance (4th). The C's ranked 17th in pace of play, per Dunks and Threes.
