On Monday night, the Celtics inexplicably lost their third game in four tries against the lowly Orlando Magic, 113-98. Boston, the league's second highest scoring team, has been held under 100 points on three occasions by the Magic. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown each scored 26 points for the Celtics on Monday night but it wasn't enough in a game Boston played with Malcolm Brogden (personal), Robert Williams III (knee) and Marcus Smart (ankle). Boston's depleted bench was outscored 41-23 on the night.

Boston hopes to bounce back on Tuesday night in the second game of this Florida back-to-back. The C's had won nine straight games prior to Monday's loss and still hold a four-game lead in the Eastern Conference. Boston will likely give Al Horford a night off tomorrow with the game being the second game in a back-to-back, as has been the policy all season.
