The Boston Celtics roll into Los Angeles as they get set to play back-to-back games against the Clippers first and then the Lakers. Boston comes into the game with the NBA's best record but coming off a loss to the Warriors in a rematch from the NBA Finals last season. The Clippers, meanwhile, return home after a brief trip east in which they closed out with a victory over the Wizards on Saturday night. The opening tip for this game is scheduled for 10:30pm EST.

The Boston Celtics continue their west coast swing with a trip to Los Angeles. Boston comes into this matchup with the Clippers with a record of 20-6 on the season and atop the Eastern Conference standings. After blowing out the Suns in Phoenix, the Celtics road into Golden State riding high on Saturday night for a national tv prime time matchup with the Warriors. Boston fell 123-107 as their shooting touch seemed to leave them. The NBA's best offense shot just 44% from the field overall and a paltry 30% from 3pt range. MVP-candidate Jayson Tatum went just 6-of-21 from the floor and scored just 18 points in the loss. The Celtics bench shot just 9-of-33 on the night and combined for just 28 points in the rare loss. Jaylen Brown led Boston with 31 points and nine rebounds.

Saturday night was a rare, poor offensive performance by the Celtics. They shot the ball poorly, particularly from long range and got a less than stellar performance from their bench. On the season, the Celtics are 4th in overall field goal percentage and #1 in 3pt field goal percentage. The Celtics defense also struggled on Saturday night, allowing Golden State to shoot 51% from the field.
Boston should hopefully see the return of starter Al Horford on Monday night. Horford has missed the last two games due to health and safety protocols.
