The Boston Celtics (13-3, 9-7-0 ATS) took a 15-point lead over the New Orleans Pelicans and never looked back in a 117-109 victory. The win was the ninth in a row for the team, including winning five straight contests on the road. The contest against Chicago will be the final of a three-game road trip that has seen the team earn a victory in Atlanta as well. The Celtics are 7-2 on the road.
“We can’t try to look too far ahead and forget about the details that need to be taken care of right in front of us,” Celtics star Jaylen Brown said. “We can’t take if for granted and get excited. Every day counts. Every game counts. We’ve got to continue to find ways to win. Tonight, we had some rough patches but it was a good example of still finding a way to get a W.”

With three players down, Boston saw all five of their starters score in double-digits. Brown finished with 27 points and 10 rebounds, hitting 10 of 20 shots. Derrick White chipped in 26 pts on 9-12 shooting, including 6-8 from three-point range. The Celtics rank in the top three in most offensive categories, including second in scoring (120.2), third in field-goal percentage (48.7%), third in three-point shooting (39.1%), and second in free-throw percentage (84.5%). Boston will be without Robert Williams (knee) and Danilo Gallinari (knee).
