Boston Bruins (21-4-1) vs. Vegas Golden Knights (20-8-1)

The 2022-23 NHL betting action continues Saturday with this interconference battle when Boston Bruins travel to take on the Vegas Golden Knights at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This showdown pits two of the top teams in the NHL. Boston is closing out a three-game road trip, losing to Arizona on Friday, 4-3. Vegas knocked off Philadelphia in overtime on Friday, 2-1. These clubs met in Boston last Monday, with the Golden Knights defeating the Bruins in a shootout, 4-3.

The Boston Bruins (21-4-1, 19-7 ATS) suffered their first loss to the Arizona Coyotes since 2010, losing 4-3. Boston scored a power-play goal with a little over five minutes left in the contest to tie the game at three, but gave up the game-winner with just 14 seconds left. The loss dropped Boston to 7-4-0 on the road.

“I wanted to make sure I was keeping it one shot at a time and making saves when I needed to, and I was one save short,” said goaltender Jeremy Swayman, who made 12 saves. “I want to fix that and move on.”

Three different players scored goals for Boston in the loss, including David Pastrnak, who has scored goals in four straight games, tallying five total during that span. The Bruins power-play connected twice in the loss, and are now fourth at 28.7%. There are also first in penalty killing at 85.9%. Statistically, Boston is a powerhouse, first in goals-against average (2.15) and second in goals per game (3.92).
