The Boston Bruins are atop the Eastern Conference in points but are still searching for their first win on this current road trip through the Western Conference. The Bruins fell on Thursday night, 2-1, at Vegas as the Golden Knights scored under a minute into the overtime period. Boston has now lost two games in overtime and one in a shootout on this current four-game road trip. Matt Grzelcyk scored the lone goal for Boston on Thursday night while goalie Jeremy Swayman turned away 23-of-25 shots.

“(Swayman) was terrific again,” Bruins coach Jim Montgomery. “Unfortunately, our goaltender's got to make several great saves for us to get a point right now.”

The Bruins are looking to close out this four-game road trip with a clean win over the Blues. Boston is 11th in the NHL in goals per game this season. The Bruins are 17th in shots per game and 7th in shooting percentage thus far. The Bruins are also fifth in the NHL in power-play percentage. Defensively, the Bruins have been very sharp. They rank sixth in goals against average this season. They are 8th in shots allowed and an impressive second in save percentage. The Bruins are also fourth in penalty kill percentage thus far.
