The Boston Bruins keep rolling along this season and are doing it in a non-traditional Bruins' manner. Normally, the Bruins have been known primarily as a physical, hitting and defensive team. This year, the Bruins are off to a 9-1 start and lead the NHL in goals per game. The team is still physical but have shown the ability to be a finesse team as well. On Tuesday night, the Bruins came back from a 5-3 deficit entering the third period. Boston would score the games final three goals and come away with a 6-5 OT win. Hampus Lindholm scored the game winner in overtime for the Bruins' sixth-straight win.

“I just love the fight in this team,” Bruins coach Jim Montgomery said. “It’s incredible. They believe in there.”

The Bruins roster has gotten a boost in the last few weeks with the return of D Matt Grzelcyk and LW Brad Marchand to the lineup. Grzelcyk is back full time while Marchand, still recovering from double hip surgery, is available on a more limited basis. The Bruins received more positive news recently as #1 defensemen Charlie McAvoy has begun going full tilt in practice as he continues his recovery. Goalie Linus Ullmark allowed four second period goals and was pulled but had to return in the 3rd period after Jeremy Swayman left the game with a lower body injury. Ullmark has taken off the lead goalie duties and his return and subsequent shutout of the Penguins in the third period and overtime showed resilience.

Key Injuries: D McAvoy is close to return but remains out. C David Krejci missed his second straight game with an upper body injury. Marchand's availability is up in the air after playing against Pittsburgh but it should be considered doubtful.
