The Boston Bruins (34-5-1-3, 27-16 PL, 20-19 O/U) meet with the New York Rangers (25-13-5-2, 21-24 PL, 19-25 O/U) in an Original Six matchup on Thursday night. The Bruins defeated the Islanders on Wednesday night. The Rangers collected a road victory against the Blue Jackets in their previous action. The Bruins recorded a 5-2 road win in the lone meeting in November. 

The Boston Bruins continue to dominate. They receive a lot of attention for their home dominance and have been stellar on the road where they are 14-4-1 on the season. Boston was charged with a surprising 3-0 home loss by the Kraken last week and rebounded by defeating the Maple Leafs, Flyers, and most recently, a 4-1 road win against the Islanders Wednesday. Boston now has a huge 13-point lead atop the Atlantic division. 

David Pastrnak continues to dominate, accumulating a remarkable 10 goals in his last six games. The 26-year-old star is having an incredible season, collecting 35 goals and 62 points. Pasta scored in the lone meeting against the Rangers. Brad Marchand is also in a groove, recording 10 points this month. The veteran winger had a goal and an assist in Monday’s win and has 40 points in 35 games. Charlie McAvoy has collected six points in his last six clashes. The young defenseman averages over 20 minutes of ice per game and has amassed 25 points in 30 games on the season.

The Bruins continue to share the duties in the net with Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman. Ullmark was in goal in Wednesday's victory and has posted a 1.82 GAA and a .936 save %. Swayman will get the start. He is sporting a 2.35 GAA and a .912 save % along with a 10-3-3 record. Boston is scoring an average of 3.8 goals which leads the league.
