The Boston Bruins hit the road on Wednesday night for a three-game trip that started with a 4-0 win over the Avalanche and now face an Arizona team with just 18 points on the season. On Wednesday night, the Bruins took full advantage of banged up Colorado squad to take a 4-0 win. Taylor Hall led the way with two goals and one assist to continue his outstanding season. David Pastrnak and Trent Frederic each scored a goal in the win. The Bruins completed the season-sweep of the Avalanche, winning the two games by a combined 9-1. Bruins goalie Linus Ullmark added his second shutout of the season, turning away 23 shots in the win.

“It’s not easy coming to the altitude and playing. I don’t think any one of us expected to have a rocking start,” Hall explained about the conditions playing in Colorado. “But we found our game as the (second) period went on and we found our legs. That was real ly good.”

The Bruins will look to avoid the temptation to looking ahead to their next game, when they take on the best of the west thus far, the Vegas Knights. Coming into this game, the Bruins are the #2 scoring team in the NHL, have the #1 goals against average and save percentage and boast the 4th best power play unit and the #1 ranked penalty killing unit. Expect backup goalie Jeremy Swayman to get the start in this one with Ullmark getting the nod in Vegas. Swayman is 5-2 on the season with a 2.63 GAA.
