MWC opponents meet when the Boise State Broncos (2-2) and the San Diego State Aztecs (2-2) play on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Albertsons Stadium.

In their last outing, the Broncos were knocked off by the UTEP Miners 27-10. The Aztecs are coming off of a victory over the Toledo Rockets by the score of 17-14. Hank Bachmeier had 93 yards on 13-of-34 passing (38.2%) for the Broncos in that matchup against the Miners, with one touchdown and no interceptions. George Holani carried the ball 16 times for 75 yards (4.7 yards per carry). LaTrell Caples had four receptions for 32 yards (8.0 per catch) against the Miners. Braxton Burmeister’s showing for the Aztecs against the Rockets included 13-of-24 passing for 65 yards, no touchdowns and one interception. He rushed eight times for 44 yards. Jordan Byrd carried the ball 16 times for 115 yards and two touchdowns. Mekhi Shaw caught two passes on two targets for 21 yards (10.5 yards per reception).

The Broncos are favored (-6) over the Aztecs. The total is set at 39.5 points.
