The Boise State Broncos (0-1) hit the road for an MWC clash against the New Mexico Lobos (1-0) on Friday, September 9, 2022 at University Stadium (NM).

The Broncos head into the matchup after losing 34-17 to the Oregon State Beavers in their last game on September 3. Last time out, the Lobos won 41-0 over the Maine Black Bears. Taylen Green had 155 yards on 19-of-28 passing (67.9%) for the Broncos in that matchup against the Beavers, with no touchdowns and one interception. He also added 11 carries for 102 yards and two rushing touchdowns. Ashton Jeanty totaled 16 rushing yards on four carries (4.0 yards per carry). He also had six catches for 52 yards. Stefan Cobbs led the receiving charge against the Beavers, catching four passes for 39 yards. Miles Kendrick threw for 170 yards for the Lobos against the Black Bears, going 14-for-17 (82.4%) with two touchdowns and two interceptions. He added 11 carries for 40 yards. Sherod White carried the ball 13 times for 58 yards (4.5 yards per attempt) with two touchdowns. In the passing game, he added two catches for 25 yards. Geordon Porter caught five passes for 54 yards (10.8 yards per catch), scoring one touchdown.

The Lobos are heavy, 17-point underdogs in their matchup against the Broncos (the game’s total is 46.5 points).
