The Boise State Broncos advanced to 4-4 SU and 3-3-2 ATS on the season following a 32-7 thrashing of the Wyoming Cowboys in Week 9. After enjoying a bye in Week 8, the Broncos bounced back from an upsetting 31-30 loss at Colorado State in style, outgaining Wyoming 443-112 in total yards.

Maddux Madsen completed 12 of his 15 passing attempts last Saturday, throwing for 147 yards and a touchdown, while Taylen Green went 3-of-6 for 69 yards and a touchdown in relief. “There is nothing more rewarding than to be able to go out there and play the way the defense did tonight,” Boise State head coach Andy Avalos said. “It’s not going to happen next week again if we don’t get back to work, continue to improve, put the attention to detail in. Each and every week has a life of its own.”

The Broncos’ defense certainly hasn’t impressed thus far, allowing 27.9 points per game (87th in the country) on 276.9 passing yards (125th) and 111.9 rushing yards (26th). Boise State has surrendered 31 or more points in each of its previous three showings on the road.

O n the other side of the ball, the Broncos are tallying 30.0 points per game (tied-56th) on 232.3 passing yards (62nd) and 195.4 rushing yards (21st). Sophomore running back Ashton Jeanty leads the way for Boise State with 1,317 yards from scrimmage and 15 touchdowns, while sophomore wideout Eric McAlister has caught 39 passes for 788 yards and five scores. Maddux Madsen, who took the starting job in Week 6, has thrown for 731 yards, six touchdowns, and two interceptions so far this term.
