Boise State at Wyoming – 1/14/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Boise State Broncos and Wyoming Cowboys face off on Saturday in a college basketball showdown at Arena-Auditorium. When these two teams faced off in March it was Boise State that secured the 68-61 victory.

Boise State comes into this game with a 13-4 record and they are coming off another winning day on Wednesday. The offense put up 84 points against UNLV and that was enough to win by 18 points. Tyson Degenhart had a strong game finishing with 17 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists. Boise State is averaging 71.9 points while their defense is giving up 60.1 points per game. The defense is ranked 16th, and they are going to need the defense to step up again here. Marcus Shaver Jr is having a strong season averaging 14.5 points while shooting 38.6 percent from the field and 28.3 percent from behind the three point line.

On the other side of this matchup is Wyoming who sits with a 5-11 record and they are coming off another loss in the last game. The defense gave up 83 points to Utah State and that led to the 20 point defeat. Hunter Maldonado had a strong game finishing with 20 points, two rebounds, and two assists. Wyoming is averaging 70.6 points while their defense is giving up 70.6 points per game. The defense is ranked 230rd, and they need the defense to be better in this game, or it’s going to be a long game. Noah Reynolds is averaging 14.3 points while shooting 54.2 percent from the field and 39 percent from behind the three point line. Reynolds is dealing with a concussion though, and it’s unclear if he’s going to be able to go in this game.
