The Boise State Broncos will begin their 2022 season in Corvallis, OR for a matchup with the Oregon State Beavers. Khalil Shakir was the primary target in the Boise State offense with 74 receiving yards and one touchdown on six catches, while Kurt Rafdal added one catch for 20 yards and one score as well.
The Oregon State Beavers had a mediocre 2021 season that ended with a two game losing streak after an 11 point loss to Utah State in the Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl. Offensively Oregon State totaled 415 yards including 263 through the air to score 13 points against Utah State but turned the ball over two times leading to the loss.
