Strik eout props are difficult when the Blue Jays are involved, as their offense is putrid in perhaps the worst way imaginable, given how baseball is played here in 2024. They've struck out the third-fewest times in MLB, meaning the ball is in play off their bats a whole lot, but the contact is consistently of the weak variety.

George Springer has spent much of 2024 flailing and failing.
Often, a player descends during the back half of his contract when he was a major free-agent splash. But there's a sharp contrast between a gradual decline and a cliff plunge, and Springer is becoming a clear example of the latter.
He's slashing just .191/.282/.285, and his OPS has now cratered from .732 in 2023 to .567 this year. Springer has already been removed from the leadoff spot atop the Blue Jays lineup, but he creates a hole wherever the veteran sits. His hard-hit percentage is at career-worst 34.8%, down significantly from just two seasons ago when Springer was generating much more power at 42.3% in 2022.
