Under Kirk Ferentz, Iowa is 29-9 ATS versus excellent rushing teams that average 5.25 or more rushing yards/carry. Ohio State ranks 4th in the country in rushing yards per carry at 6.00, so this significant trend is active. While the Hawkeyes leave a lot to be desired offensively, they're among the best defensive teams in the nation and have allowed just 11.3 points per contest (3rd-best). They're coming off a 9-6 loss to Illinois and in their previous game against an elite team, they fell 27-14 to Michigan. This Buckeyes offense is elite and has Heisman Trophy frontrunner CJ Stroud at the helm of it, but getting Iowa at +29 and trusting their defense is definitely the side I want to be on. If the Hawkeyes are able to score a touchdown or get into double-digits offensively, I don't envision them giving up the points that would be required to lose this bet.
