UK-based online sports betting platform bet365'went live in Arizona on Monday morning, it’s ninth U.S. state. The bet365 Arizona launch is the company’s second this year in a U.S. market after a Jan. 30 launch in Indiana, and third in the U.S. in about three months. Bet365 is partnered with the Ak-Chin Indian Community, which lost its original digital sports betting partner when Fubo Sportsbook folded in October 2022. The bet365 platform brings the total number of licensed betting apps in Arizona to 17, though WynnBET has plans to unwind its operations in the state as part of a larger downsizing. WynnBET is partnered with the San Carlos Apache Tribe.

The Arizona Dept. of Gaming is preparing to open an application window Feb. 16, during which one tribal license and “no less than one” professional sports franchise license will be available. The only major operator that does not currently have market access in Arizona is Fanatics Sportsbook, which in January declined to comment on its plans for Arizona.

In addition to Arizona and Indiana, bet365 is live in Colorado, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Ohio, New Jersey, and Virginia.
