Best NHL player prop bets for Tuesday, 3/28

Tuesdays generally provide a larger NHL slate, and that's no different tonight. We have 10 games on the board, which includes some great matchups like the Lightning vs Hurricanes and Oilers vs Golden Knights. Those are battles between some of the league's best; however, we're going to target some of the weaker teams with our NHL player props. We have a skater in one of the first games of the day and another on a team looking to earn a division title, so let's check 'e m out.

Along with our player props, be sure to check out all of our NHL picks for today's action.

Adam Fox over 0.5 assists (-140)

First up is a skater that's come through for us quite often over the past 2 seasons. We're expecting a big night from all the New York Rangers, so feel free to check out Artemi Panarin and Mika Zibanejad, among others. We're anticipating a big night for them due to their opponent. They'll be on home ice against the Columbus Blue Jackets. They've been at the bottom of the NHL all season, and their most recent game illustrates that perfectly. The Jackets faced the Montreal Canadiens – the 2nd-worst team in the Eastern Conference – and were blown away 8-2.'

Now facing a top-3 team in the Metro Division, we expect a similar result. That means Fox should keep up his success against Columbus. The defenseman has 9 assists in 8 career games against the Jackets, including in their most recent matchup. Fox is virtually always on the ice, as his 24:36/game is among the tops in the league. Similarly, his 54 assists are among the best. It's also worth noting that he has 65 points overall, which clearly demonstrates how much more prone he is for assists rather than goals. With Columbus allowing the 2nd-most goals per game, we trust Fox to link up with a teammate for at least 1 goal tonight.''''
