Best NHL player prop bets for today 12/13 – Marner continues streak

Games are beginning to have more meaning at this point in the NHL season. There are some teams that were expected to be bad that are in playoff spots, and some teams that were expected to be good that are on the outside looking in. Now a third into the season, a game’s 2 points carry a little bit more value. Tuesday night’s NHL slate is jam packed with 24 teams in play. Stacked with star power and teams looking to make moves in the standings, we’re in store for a great night of hockey.

If you are looking to have some action, here are our favorite NHL player props for Tuesday. Also be sure to also check out our NHL picks for each of today’s games.

Mitch Marner anytime goal scorer (+120)

Tuesday is a day that ends in “y”, so it must a day Mitch Marner collects another couple of points. Marner's point streak is now to 22 games as he leads the Maple Leafs with 35 points in 29 games. Although he is a more assist-heavy player, Marner has been scoring at a more consistent clip lately. He has scored 11 of his 12 total goals during this point streak, and has scored in 7 of his last 8 games. Marner plays over 22 minutes per game on average, and between even strength and power play, he plays with John Tavares, Auston Matthews, and William Nylander. The Maple Leafs are in a smash spot on Tuesday night against the Ducks. This game should be just another day at the office for Marner and the Leafs.

Anaheim is at the very bottom of the league with 17 points. They have the league's worst goal scoring, goal prevention, and penalty kill. The Ducks have the second worst power play and allow the most shots on goal per game in the league. For all intents and purposes, it is plain ugly for the Ducks right now. The Maple Leafs are playing great hockey, and they have a great opportunity to run up the score. Toronto has scored 14 goals across their last 3 games. They should be able to keep it rolling on Tuesday. For the majority of this season, any offense the Leafs muster up includes Mitch Marner. This game should bring more of the same.
