Brayden Point over 0.5 goals (+100)

It may seem strange that we're targeting a skater on the Tampa Bay Lightning. They've been locked into their first round series with the Toronto Maple Leafs for quite some time; however, Point has 49 goals on the year and will be going for his first career 50-goal season. He nearly reached that milestone on Tuesday night against the Leafs, but his shot hit the crossbar. Now he gets another chance against a team he loves facing.'

Point has scored a goal in all 3 games against the Detroit Red Wings this season, and in 5 of his last 6 games against them. Detroit is coming off back-to-back losses in which they were outscored 10-2, so they clearly haven't looked good. It's also worth noting that Point scored the most goals in the postseason 2 seasons ago with 14 en route to the Lightning's 2nd of back-to-back Stanley Cups. He was nagged with injury last year, and he's put on an incredible bounce-back season. Head coach Jon Cooper will want the boys to build momentum heading into the playoffs, and Point should help them do just that.
