Best NHL player prop bet for Wednesday, 3/22

There are just over 10 games left for teams as the postseason draws nearer. Along with such few games left overall, there are only 2 games on the board tonight. However, they'll both be featured on TNT, giving the NHL some limelight. Despite the light action, we've still come up with our favorite player prop. We're not going outside the box for this one, but sometimes there's simply no need.'

Along with our player props, be sure to check out all of our NHL picks for today's action.

Connor McDavid over 0.5 goals (-135)

We know that there isn't anything that hasn't already been said about Connor McDavid. He's truly a generational talent. We'll try not to rehash everything you've heard over the last few months, but some things are just that incredible. Firstly, McDavid is going for the first 150-point season in 27 years. After yet another multi-point performance on Monday night, he's just 14 points shy with 11 games left. He notched 2 assists in that game the other night. Now he and the Oilers get to host a bad Arizona Coyotes team that is on the 2nd leg of a road back-to-back.'

To say that McDavid has feasted on the 'Yotes would be an understatement. He's had a goal in 4 straight games against them and 5 of the last 6. Better yet, 4 of those 5 games saw McDavid find the back of the net multiple times. Another milestone he's going for is a 60-goal season. He currently sits at 58, which means this is a prime night for him to break that barrier. We'd even sprinkle on a hat trick for McDavid tonight. Regardless, our official play is for him to find the back of the net at least once on home ice and take one more step towards history.
