Edmonton is also out to look a bit more consistent than their first game back after the holiday weekend. They were able to sneak away with a 2-1 win over the Calgary Flames, but are capable of so much more. Even after that win, they're still averaging the 4th-most goals per game since the start of December. Meanwhile, the Kraken just allowed 3 goals in a loss to that same Flames team. They're also allowing nearly 3.5 goals per game since December 1. While these teams haven't faced yet this season, Draisaitl torched the Kraken last season. In 3 meetings, he had point totals of 4, 2 and 3. Again, McDavid may be the safer play, but with how much these 2 link up, they nearly always record points with one another.
