NBA Player Props Predictions 1: Luka Doncic, Mavericks 9.5 Assists (+110) DK
Dallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic is averaging 10.3 assists per game while recording 10+ assists in 14 of 27 games for a 52% success rate.
However, tonight he is facing the Indiana Pacers who have allowed the LEAST assists to opposing point guards both on the season and over the last 15 games.
In fact, only 1 of 62 opposing point guards have reached 10+ assists against Indiana. Doncic just faced the Pacers about a week ago and landed on only 6 assists.
With Kyrie Irving playing in home games, Doncic has fallen short of double digit assists in 11 of 16 games while averaging 8.9 per game.
We know Doncic is more than capable of recording double digits in any category, but the matchup and trends are both working against him tonight in Dallas.
NBA Player Props Predictions 2: Paolo Banchero, Magic 21.5 Points (-110) DK
Orlando Magic power forward Paolo Banchero has averaged 22.9 points per game while clearing this line in 34 of 59 games for a 58% success rate on the season.
Banchero has also cleared this mark in 4 of his last 6 games and 6 of his last 10 road games. The Charlotte Hornets defense allows the 7th most points to opposing power forwards with 25.22 per game while ranking 24th in points allowed overall and 27th in field goal percentage allowed.
Banchero has taken full advantage of the Hornets defense, eclipsing this point total his last three and 3 of 4 career games with 21, 31, 22 and 23 points.
The 23-point effort was recorded this season, back in November with a 9-18 shooting performance. This is also the perfect amount of rest for Banchero as he’s scored 22+ points in 22 of 32 games off a day’s rest. If we can avoid getting bit by a blowout, Banchero should cruise past this point total.
